Getting rid of Deckstains

-         Berry deckstains - apply a orthodox deck washing containing purifying and sodium hypo-chlorite.

 

Tannic acid and bleed stains

Some timber species such as massaranduba, cedar and redwood might produce tannin and bleed stains. Oils in the deck seep to the lumber surface and will look as blotches or darken the whole decking plank. After making the deck clean, you might have to apply a deck brightener to get rid of stains and brighten darken wood. More on this two step deck cleaning

 

Whenever the deck brightener isn't pre-mixed, blend and mix it vastly. Any non-dissolved solution can make areas more bright then others. Apply a pump sprayer and apply an even coating. Two coatings could be necessary, allowing for the deck to dry between the different coatings.
